1994
TVI Interactive Systems Inc. delivers the first home banking system in the world to VanCity Savings Credit Union.
1995
Think Video Interactive is formed to develop a top-secret product for Nintendo of America. This project ultimately becomes TranDirect's "TVBanker: Nintendo" product.
Home banking technology developed by TVI is made available on multiple platforms including Windows-based PCs and televisions.
TVI's Internet Service Provider subsidiary, TVINET Internet Services, is formed to serve credit unions and corporate clients in British Columbia.
TVI's development platforms expand to include Apple and Digital_UNIX.
1996
TVI doubles the size of it's Burnaby office space to accommodate an expanding company.
TVI's programming teams begin the integration of Certicom Security technology into Rapport's Internet home banking products.
1997
The TVI Group of Companies is named "One of the top 25 up-and-coming software companies in Canada" by Financial Post magazine.
Ernst & Young nominates TVI's President, Duncan Fraser, for the Canadian Entrepreneur of The Year award.
The number of credit unions using home banking products developed by TVI passes 40.
1998
TranDirect Holdings (the parent company of TVI, TVINET and Think Video) tenders a successful proposal to become a public company on the VSE.
Dec. 1998
TVI Interactive Systems, Think Video Interactive, and TVINET Internet Services are forced to lay off their staff due to lack of funds, pending completion of public financing.
Apr/May 1999
TranDirect Holdings completes it's public placement and hires back a small group from the original staff to pursue the development and marketing of home banking products and services in the United States and International markets.
